Tournament organizers confirmed the venue and date for the third edition of the Carling Cup. The match will feature a fan-selected All Stars XI, who return to South African football for the event.
The All Stars will take on either Pirates or Marumo Gallants, depending on the outcome of the Carling Knockout semi-finals. The main final is scheduled for 6 December at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, where Pirates will be the designated home team.
Speaking ahead of his return, Riveiro said, “It is definitely a fantastic final. Pirates is having a fantastic season… very good football, one more time.”
