Cllr. Ntabeni’s Career and Achievements

Before becoming a councillor, Ntabeni worked for the municipality as a personal assistant in the Office of the Chief Whip from 2016 to 2021. After the 2021 local government elections, he was sworn in as Ward 10 councillor and became a member of the Corporate Services and Local Economic Development Standing Committees. He also served as chairperson of the Information Technology and Governance Committee at Alfred Nzo District Municipality.

Mayor Cllr. Sonwabile Mngenela praised Ntabeni’s dedication and passion, saying,

This young lion worked tirelessly to transform Ward 10 and the Eastern Cape. His interventions brought numerous infrastructure projects to the ward, and his enthusiasm for youth and sports development was unmatched. We’ll deeply miss his sense of humor and commitment to Council.
