In a groundbreaking move, the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has partnered with SuperSport to make all PSL matches available on the Showmax platform. This means that fans can now stream every PSL match live, including cup competitions, for just R69 per month.
The partnership, announced on September 11, 2024, is set to revolutionize the way fans consume local football. With the new Showmax Premier League mobile streaming service, fans will have access to all 380 Premier League games, as well as major cup competitions like the Carling Knockout Cup, MTN8, and Nedbank Cup.
The Betway Premiership kicks off on September 14, 2024, with Royal AM taking on Cape Town City, followed by Kaizer Chiefs vs Marumo Gallants. Champions Mamelodi Sundowns begin their campaign on September 17, while Orlando Pirates start their league challenge on September 18.
PSL Acting CEO, Mato Madlala, hailed the partnership as a “game-changer for South African football”, saying it will bring Premier Soccer League football to millions of fans across the region.
