All eyes on FNB stadium this weekend where Soweto giants aim to slaughter each other for Nedbank cup final ticket. Kaizer Chiefs will welcome Orlando Pirates at 15:00pm on Saturday.

Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro says Kaizer Chiefs have more time to rest ahead of their Nedbank Cup showdown.

“There is no periodization when you don’t have time to rest. The physiological studies say you need three days to rest and we did not get that. But it is not my business and I don’t decide when we play,” said Riveiro in the post-match conference.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has explained how Kaizer Chiefs have managed to maintain their dominance over arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, with Amakhosi winning the last five Soweto Derbies.

Kaizer Chiefs are going to this game with an upper hand in the books as they have managed to defeat the Sea Robbers five times consecutively, twice in the league this season. On the other hand Orlando Pirates are coming to this game as the on form side as they managed to win 6 games in a raw and one draw recently against Royal Am.
