Track and field league is one of the strategies that is being used to grow local young athletes and this coming weekend KwaBhaca will host these games where various athletics across the province are expected to come and participate. One of the Mount Frere athletes and a coach Luyanda Mgoduka says he is very much excited and his athletes are ready to participate.
“We are very excited as KwaBhaca athletes to host track and field league as it will give us a test to see what we have been working on the whole year,” said Mgoduka
Badibanise stadium is chosen to host these games on Saturday and Alfred Nzo athletes are expected to showcase their running talents as hosts.
“Even though track and field league is slightly different from other races that we normally participate in but IÂ believe that the region’s athletes are going to dominate ” said Mgoduka
