It was a war of bitbulls between Amaxesibe FC and FC Siyanda last Saturday, stream A log leaders were surprisingly crushed 4-1 by surviving fighters during Umzimvubu derby on the Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe league game.
“As I said in my pre match interview that it was going to be a very difficult game, indeed it was like that. Amaxesibe were the better team in the day. Our team made a lot of mistakes which resulted to the goals. But I would like to apologize to our chairman and the supporters for the poor performance we displayed. We promise that we will rectify the mistakes that we were doing in our next encounter” said FC Siyanda coach Anele Ngculu
There were moments of teasing and insulting amongst fans during the game but most fans explained it as a moment of pressure and excitement because of the game was on fire. As FC Siyanda was losing most fans were hurt n grumbling, on the other side Amaxesibe FC were excitedly singing teasing songs aiming at FC Siyanda’s fans.
Amaxesibe FC coach Thobekile Ntshinga says he is super excited that they won the game even though it was a difficult game, he further says the plan of the day was to press them in their half and make sure they don’t have time to think on the ball.
“ Yes we scored 4 goals but I feel like we were suppose to score more thsn that but i am happy with the way my team played on the day, we lost in the first leg therefore it was important for us to win home” said Ntshinga
