The Eastern Cape Legislature Portfolio Committee overseeing the Office of the Premier is currently conducting an oversight visit to the Umzimvubu Local Municipality. Led by Member of the Legislature Mr Saziwa, the committee was formally welcomed by Council Speaker, Cllr Ndanele Mndzinwa.

This visit is part of the Legislature’s broader mandate to ensure transparency and accountability in government initiatives. A key focus of the day’s agenda is a site visit to Mazocol Trading — a youth-owned business funded through the Isiqalo Youth Fund, a flagship programme designed to foster entrepreneurship among young people in the province.
