Dr. Nandipha Toyota Ndudane, a distinguished veterinarian, has made a significant impact in the field of animal health. As the former director and principal of Tsolo Agriculture and Rural Development Institute in the Eastern Cape, she played a crucial role in shaping the next generation of animal health professionals.
Dr. Ndudane’s expertise extends beyond academia, as she holds prominent positions in various international organizations. She serves as the president of the South African Veterinary Council, Africa representative of the World Veterinary Association, and chairperson of the World Organisation for Animal Health Ad Hoc Working Group.
Her dedication to harmonizing community animal health workers’ training programs and developing global guidelines has earned her recognition in the Mail and Guardian’s 2024 Power of Women in the agriculture and environment category.
