The police in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape are calling on anyone who may have information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects after the shooting incident in Mdantsane to come forward.
The shooting incident took place on the afternoon of Wednesday the 10th of August 2022 at around 15:30 at the offices of the taxi association on Qumza Highway, Mdantsane. Police spokesperson Brigadier Thembinkosi Kinana says, according to the details, the deceased, aged between thirty-five and forty-five years old, was busy in the office with other survivors of the attack, when they heard gunshots in the office.
He said three people died instantly inside the office while a fourth, believed to be a bystander, was shot outside the street yard. Kinana said two guns were found at the scene, however the owners of these guns have not been identified.
“The circumstances surrounding this incident are not yet known, but the police are investigating murder cases, and no one has been arrested yet.” said Kinana
