GKM Mayor Lwanda Madikizela stressed the importance of ethical leadership in building a successful municipality during a special visit to the Management Committee Meeting at the Council Chamber today, August 12, 2024.

In his remarks, Mayor Madikizela highlighted that ethical leadership is crucial in building trust and confidence among citizens. He emphasized that the municipality’s role is to improve the lives of all South Africans by serving citizens and collaborating with social forces to meet their social, economic, and material needs.

The mayor also bid farewell to outgoing Manager Community and Social Services, Mr. Asanda Mandlana, expressing gratitude for his contributions to improving waste management and beautifying the municipal landscape.
