TCC Coordinator Yolokazi Mjoli, Victim Assistant Officer Ziyanda Lubambo, and Case Manager Advocate Makhosi Mthethwa joined UKZN students, staff, residence teams, and external partners to make the event a success.

The walk aimed to encourage open conversations about gender-based violence (GBV), promote awareness, and strengthen community efforts to prevent abuse. Participants distributed information on the TCC’s specialised services, which support survivors of sexual and domestic violence, and encouraged students to report any incidents.

The collaboration reflects a continued effort by the NPA and higher education institutions to combat GBV and ensure students have access to safe spaces and professional assistance when needed.
