Kuhle Mkhize, a proud Walter Sisulu University (WSU) graduate, is making her mark in South Africa’s corporate world as the Public Relations Manager for Hollywoodbets. From helping shape strategy for major events like the Durban July to managing communications across the company’s various divisions, Mkhize’s rise is nothing short of inspiring.

Originally from Butterworth and raised in Mdantsane, Mkhize’s early life was shaped by the strong women around her. She credits her mother and grandmother for instilling the drive that fuels her success today.

“Growing up in a household full of strong female figures, from my grandmother to my mom and aunts, shaped who I am today,” Mkhize shared. “Simply seeing them overcome all odds and raise phenomenal children inspired me. No matter the obstacles, they made sure we had the best and taught us that through Christ, nothing is impossible.”

Her journey started with a passion for storytelling, which led her to earn both a National Diploma in Journalism and a BTech in Public Relations from WSU. That foundation, combined with determination and grit, launched her into a thriving career in media and corporate communications.
