A shocking incident of vandalism occurred at the Makwassie Stadium in the early hours of December 27, 2024. The chaos erupted when the lead singer of the Annual Fun Games and Music Festival failed to show up, leaving the crowd furious.
In a fit of rage, the attendees went on a rampage, burning down the stage and other equipment worth approximately R3 million. The police have launched a manhunt to identify and apprehend those responsible for the malicious damage to property.
