The National Arts Council (NAC) has started processing PESP 6 payments after receiving funds from the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) on 18 December 2025. The payments began on 23 December and are expected to continue until 24 December 2025.
What Happened
On 18 December 2025, DSAC transferred the funds for the Presidential Employment Stimulus Programme (PESP 6) to the NAC. The NAC confirmed the money reflected in its account by 23 December and immediately began processing payments for approved beneficiaries.
Official Response
In a statement issued on 22 December, the NAC confirmed that only beneficiaries who submitted all required contractual documentation will be paid. Payments are subject to verification and compliance checks.
“The NAC wishes to thank DSAC for the prompt transfer, which shows its commitment to the sector,” the statement read.
