The Winnie Madikizela Mandela Local Municipality concluded its first day of four-day grade 12 annual career exhibition on Monday at the Amadiba Hall A&B, Wild Coast Sun. The event, which aims to provide crucial career guidance to the class of 2024, saw an array of educational institutions and stakeholders come together to support the youth in making informed decisions about their futures.

Day one of the exhibition saw a culmination of efforts from various educational institutions, NGOs, and government representatives, all working towards empowering the youth of the Alfred Nzo East region. The event was graced by the presence of the honorable WMMLM Mayor, D. Mafumbatha, who highlighted the region’s achievements and emphasized the importance of collaboration in enhancing educational opportunities for learners.

The Winnie Madikizela Mandela Local Municipality’s initiative aims to minimize the costs associated with learners traveling to institutions seeking information by bringing higher learning institutions directly to the schools. By doing so, they ensure that students are equipped with relevant information to make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
