ABC Motsepe League outfit, South African Spears of The Nation FC are set to hold trials on the 12 of July 2021 at Zikhuba Sports Ground at 10h00am. The club finished top of Stream A in the ABC Motsepe League but failed to progress pass the playoffs in the province.
For The Masses as the green outfit from Bizana is affectionately known amongst soccer enthusiasts had a season to remember in the third tie of the NSL this past season dominating proceedings from the onset. The Blue Nation enjoyed the summit of the Eastern Cape Stream A log after amassing an impressive tally of 46 points in 16 games, winning 15 and drawing just on one occasion. Their journey to the National Playoffs came to an abrupt halt after losing 4 – 1 on aggregate to BCM FC in the Eastern Cape playoffs.
A statement on the social media account read as follows, “SA Spears of the Nation FC will be hosting trials to identify players who are willing and capable of assisting the team in our preparations for 2021/2022 season” the team continued to advise interested candidates to arrive either on Saturday or Sunday in order to secure a spot at their club house. “Kindly note that, trialists are advised to arrive either on Saturday or Sunday to secure a space at the clubhouse and should bring their own training kit” they concluded.
