MTHATHA – The Mthatha High Court has reserved judgment in the case of Sinenkani FC versus the South African Football Association (SAFA) and six other respondents. The proceedings concluded late last night, with all parties presenting their arguments before the presiding judge.
Sinenkani FC has expressed gratitude towards their legal team for their diligent efforts and robust representation. “Our legal team has worked very hard on the case, and their presentation before the court was impressive,” the club stated. They assured supporters, known as the “Stubborn Nation,” that updates will be provided as developments unfold.
The case has garnered significant attention from fans, who have voiced concerns over perceived biases within SAFA. Supporter Manyhu Delani commented on the club’s official Facebook page, “We are not going to sit back watching corrupt SAFA destroying Sinenkani by being biased with our rivals, giving them everything.” Another fan, Sibongile Nqabane Katikati, added, “You will win the case unless the judge is also biased.”
