In the early hours today, service delivery protests erupted in the Phepheni area of Mt Ayliff, Alfred Nzo District, resulting in road closures and escalating tensions. These obstructions have rendered the road completely inaccessible, prompting authorities to advise motorists to seek alternative routes.
In light of the unrest, Mbizana Traffic and the South African Police Service (SAPS) have issued a warning to motorists, particularly trucks, urging them to avoid utilizing the R394 due to unresolved issues related to demarcation.
