The two men briefly appeared at Mbizana magistrate’s court and were not granted bail following their alleged involvement in the murder of a 22-year-old man in Baleni locality on Sunday, 5 February 2023.
On Wednesday, 08 February 2023, Sithembiso Lize(39) and Luyolo Mdwetshu(25) briefly appeared in court on charges of murder and were not granted bail. Their case was postponed to Wednesday, 15 February 2023 for a bail application.
The two men were arrested on Monday, 6 February 2023. The accused were charged for the murder of Mazwi Ntshangase(22), whose charred body was found lying in an open space at Vumani Location in Amadiba Administrative Area on Sunday, 5 February.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli said case was postponed to Wednesday, 15 February 2023 for a bail application.
