1st April sees the beginning of the year in radio-ville with many stations announcing new on-air line-ups.
TruFM Business Manager, Loyiso Bala, has announced some few changes on the station.
Bala says trufm mid-week 6 to 6 programming remains unchanged for the new fiscal.
Changes:
Ngqushwa’ s Yanga Mayor Jaca replaces Dee Lukes Ngantweni on After Hours from Sunday to Thursday (22:00-01:00am) while Dee Lukes will move to Sunday slot of Urban Exchange (12:00 noon – 03:00pm).
Trufm truTalent winner, Ntombozuko Balintulo, takes over Saturdays and Sunday nights from 12 am till 3:00 am as Simo Zokwana brings you The Avenue on Saturdays.
Bala is confident that trufm will be the biggest radio station in the Eastern Cape.
Last year, the station grew from 177 000 to 286 000 listeners.
