The first of February is world read out loud day. For the past 13 years world read out loud day has called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to take a book of their choice, find an audience and read aloud.

The Winnie Madikizela Local Municipality and the Wild coast gave a platform to schools that were attending the career exhibition on day three to be active participants in world read out loud and allowed learners to be active participants by also including the learners who were in the audience to interpret what was read to them.

Diya Lusanda from Nongeke Senior Secondary who aspires to be a dermatologist because she wants to help young girls to be confident and comfortable in who they are, was one of the learners who read out loud.

In addition to participating to read out loud Mr. London Lusten Steven who was the coordinator of the exhibition shared study tips that will allow the Bizana class of 2023 to have a better chance of achieving their goals.
