The public protector’s office announced that it has received a complaint, accusing President Cyril Ramaphosa of Breaching the executive code of ethics.

The complaint is said to have come from a member of Parliament, after the leaked audio of what sounded like the president is  admitting to have known about the abuse of state funds, for The ANC election Campaign.

Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s office said it has been overwhelmed with complaints about the matter since it was discussed by Parliament’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) in the past week.
