The South African National Taxi Council (SANTACO) will host a press briefing on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, to update the public on recent developments in the taxi industry.
The event is scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM at the SABC Ground Floor Auditorium in Auckland Park, Johannesburg.
According to SANTACO, the briefing will focus on key industry issues, ongoing developments, and the council’s strategic direction to improve the public transport sector. The leadership of SANTACO in Gauteng and nationally will be present to outline interventions aimed at addressing current challenges faced by the industry.
Journalists attending the session will also have the opportunity to engage directly with the council’s leadership during a question-and-answer segment.
