On Christmas Day, Port St Johns Local Municipality officials visited Isilimela Hospital to hand out gifts to newborn babies and their mothers. The visit was led by Mayor Councillor CS Mazuza, joined by Councillors Z Mhlabeni (Ward 6), P Nomarhobho (Ward 2), and F Mafaka (Ward 17) .
The initiative aimed to promote infant health and well-being while recognising the role of mothers during the holiday season.
Official Response
Mr. Mayeza, Operations Manager at Isilimela Hospital, thanked the municipality for its continued support. He highlighted similar gestures made during Easter and New Year in previous years.
“Your continuous support is greatly appreciated by the hospital staff,” said Mr. Mayeza .
