The Alfred Nzo District Municipality has announced that the Nomlacu Water Treatment Works (WTW) will undergo planned operational maintenance on Thursday, 28 August 2025.

According to the municipality, the routine maintenance involves dislodging operations at the plant to ensure the continued delivery of purified water to Bizana residents.

Affected Areas

The following wards will be impacted during the maintenance:

01, 04, 06, 07, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 27, 31, and 32.

Residents are advised to take necessary precautions, including storing enough water ahead of the planned works.
