Ntabankulu community is struck with great sadness and regret that they have once again learnt about the two young girl’s brutal killing of who are visibly strangled by rope and dumped near the bush next to Education offices (Circuit office).

The two young ladies seemingly in their teenage years were found naked with no trace of their clothing items. They have not yet been identified and their bodies were since taken by Forensic unit.

Honorable Mayor of Ntabankulu Local Municipality, Her Worship Cllr Tsileng Sobuthongo has condemned these senseless killings of Gender Based Violence in the strongest possible terms and called on the law enforcement to move swiftly in cornering the perpetrators. Her Worship has further called on law enforcement to take all the relevant evidence including DNA samples.

The Mayor is further pleading with community members who may have leads on the case to not hesitate to come forward to the relevant authorities to assist in the case even with the little information they may have.
