Family, close friends and colleagues gathered on Wednesday the 23rd of November 2022 at Alfred Nzo District Municipality conference centre to bid farewell to the late Magistrate Buliswa Tseku Phatho, in a memorial service.
Buliswa Tseku Phatho who was a Magistrate at Mount Ayliff magistrates court succumbed from gunshot wounds on the 12th November 2022, at the age of 38 years.
According to police reports the late Magistrate was passing by Nomlacu near Faith Mission church with her family when unknown suspects who reports say were driving a white Ford Ranger double cab, started shooting at them.
My heart is torn. She was a very strict and dedicated woman, who loved her job dearly, said Colonel Tsholo the station manager at Mount Ayliff Magistrate court.
Speaking for JOASA Siphiwo Mdyogolo said Builiswa Tseku Phatho was very passionate about her career and has played a very positive role in their lives.
“Our hearts are bleeding”, said the mourners.
