On the 20 September 2025 the Minority Governing Parties (MGP), integral to the Government of Local Unity (GLU) in Johannesburg, concluded a two-day Lekgotla at the Joburg Theatre. Running from 19–20 September, the gathering brought together leaders from AIC, ALJAMA-AH, ATM, APC, AHC, COPE, UDM, UIM, PAC, and GOOD to strategize on governance, service delivery, and ethical leadership.
