King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality Executive Mayor G.N. Nelani, visited the Manqondo Tourism Information Center in Mqanduli on the 23 September 2025 to assist communities still recovering from the devastating floods that struck earlier this year. During the visit, he distributed 360 food parcels and toiletry packages, donated by humanitarian organization Gift of the Givers, to families in need.

The visit formed part of an ongoing relief program in response to the heavy floods that damaged homes and infrastructure across King Sabata Dalindyebo Municipality (KSD) earlier in 2025. Many residents are still facing economic and social hardships in the aftermath of the disaster.
