Mcobothini residents under ward 21 in Ingquza Hill local municipality outcry poor service delivery in their ward complaining of not having access to clean water.

It alleged that over the past 23 years living in democracy they never had running taps in their village.

We are drinking unhygienic dam water with cattle and we are at high risk of catching diseases because of this. We are not safe in this cold rainy winter season and so are our children.

Our councilor is aware of our unpleasant situation as we had different encounters with the Municipality.

We have taps in our village but no water is coming out. Municipal officials came here and did a handover but up to this date we are still out of water.
