It is rare for young individuals in the rural areas to understand what they like and what they want for their future, Aphila Faku from Nomlacu is one of the few young minds who have fully understood their passion, interests and abilities in Bizana. The young man from Zamokuhle J.S.S is one talented boy who is able to draw things and portraits from stretch without tracing over a paper.

One of the challenges Aphila faces is not is not having material to enhance his skills and the fact that there are no art schools around Bizana that could help him peruse his talent and gift from as early as grade ten as he is currently doing grade nine.

He was identified by one of his teachers that he is a young man with an unusual talent and asked Pondolond Times to share his talent with the masses with the hope that he might locate his destiny helper through media.

Aphila’s mother says she has been making means to assist her son in making sure that his work reaches a number of people by posting some of his work on Facebook and also hoping her sons’ dreams can be realized.
