The MEC for Department of Education (DoE), Hon. F Gade and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality (WMMLM) Mayor, Cllr TD Mafumbatha earlier today official handed over a Computer Laboratory & Infrastructure donated by Jenn Training & Consultancy at Ngalonkulu SS in Ward 14.
The MEC for Department of Education (DoE), Hon. F Gade and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality (WMMLM) Mayor, Cllr TD Mafumbatha earlier today official handed over a Computer Laboratory & Infrastructure donated by Jenn Training & Consultancy at Ngalonkulu SS in Ward 14.

The MEC for Department of Education (DoE), Hon. F Gade and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality (WMMLM) Mayor, Cllr TD Mafumbatha on Friday officially handed over a Computer Laboratory & Infrastructure donated by Jenn Training & Consultancy at Ngalonkulu SS in Ward 14.

Her Worship, Cllr Mafumbatha expressed gratitude and applauded the MEC for Education, Mr F. Gade, and Mr Babalo Madikizela for this wonderful project that will boost the education of Ngalonkulu SS learners. During the handover, Mr Madikizela asked teachers and learners to take care of this infrastructure and even vowed to donate R150 000 at the end of November to Ngalonkulu SS Top Achievers as part of his efforts to improve the education system in rural areas and he also offered to expand this project to other schools around Mbizana.

MEC Gade said he knows how poverty is and what families who live in poverty go through, especially when it comes to school-related matters. He therefore said in his opening statement. “This is the reason I’ve decided to donate 50 pairs of school shoes, 50 pairs of school bags to learners with limited means and 10 blankets for elderly people in the ward.” Additionally, the MEC promised to donate R60,000 towards the 2023 Ngalonkulu Matric Camp.

Chief Gcinisizwe shared words of gratitude where she thanked the MEC for Education, Her Worship the Mayor, Cllr. TD Mafumbatha, Mr. Madikizela, and Jenn Training & Consultancy for this wonderful initiative. She also noted that not everyone will benefit from the donated shoes and bags and urged people to be happy for those who will.
