What Happened
The Eastern Cape MEC for Agriculture, Nonceba Kontsiwe, officially opened the Eastern Cape Rural Development Agency (ECRDA) Annual Strategy Review 2025.
The event, held under the theme “Mandate Alignment: Positioning ECRDA within the Department of Agriculture and the Provincial Growth Strategy,” marked a significant step toward ensuring coordinated agricultural and rural development initiatives.

In her keynote address, MEC Kontsiwe emphasized the importance of aligning the Agency’s strategic programmes with the province’s overarching priorities.
