Amathole District Municipality (ADM), in partnership with the Department of Health and financial service providers, hosted a Health Exposition Programme at the Mbhashe Local Municipality Satellite Offices. The event, led by ADM’s Integrated Employee Wellness and Occupational Health and Safety (IEW&OHS) unit, aimed to promote employee wellness and provide crucial health and financial support services.
WHAT HAPPENED
The Health Exposition offered free health screenings, wellness education, and financial planning sessions for employees. Major health issues addressed included tuberculosis (TB), cancer, and HIV diseases that continue to impact communities across the region. Financial service providers also gave employees tools for responsible money management, linking health and financial stability.
