Bizana Pondo City FC (BPC FC) secured their place in the Provincial playoffs following an intense victory against Matshona FC in Matatiele on 11 May 2025.

Another passionate supporter, Lawrence Marobo (aka Rose), expressed his faith, saying, “As a Christian, I believe in prayer. I prayed that the boys would not disappoint us this time. My trust lies especially with Aviwe Nqeshelele, jersey number 7, and I predicted a 3-1 victory.”

The decisive match saw BPC scoring first in the opening half. Matshona FC, nicknamed “The Submarines,” retaliated aggressively in the second half, managing to equalize but failing to take the lead due to BPC’s steadfast defense. The tightly contested game ultimately proceeded to penalties, where goalkeeper Mnqobi Simamkele Mthobeli emerged as the hero by blocking all penalty shots from Matshona FC. BPC successfully converted three penalties, clinching the win.
