SINENKANI FC EMPHATICALLY TRUMP BIZANA PONDO CHIEFS TO CLAIM BRAGGING RIGHTS

Date:

The Lions of Skoemplaas return to the ABC Motsepe League turned sour after being crushed by 3 – 1 by Sinenkani FC in the Nedbank Cup last 16 qualifiers today.  History was made on Sunday morning at Mt Aylif Stadium as the town rivals met for the first time ever to establish a bitter rivalry that will last for the entire season as the two teams have been drawn in the same stream.

It was Sinenkani FC who made their intentions known when the drew first blood with a goal from Madzikane as they continued to assert their dominance over their home town rivals with Cele adding his name on the score sheet to make it two nil before half time. Bizana Pondo Chiefs grabbed a solitary goal before stoppage time but it was a little too late as Maadzikane sealed matters beyond reasonable doubt with a second goal to complete his brace for the day.
