Ingquza Hill Local Municipality began its 2026 Mega Strategic Planning Session on 24 February 2026.
The three-day session, which runs until 26 February, brings together councillors, municipal departments and external stakeholders to align plans with the upcoming budget. Day two resumed on 25 February with internal departmental presentations.

The Ingquza Hill Local Municipality council started its annual Mega Strategic Planning Session on 24 February 2026.

On day one, the municipality received presentations from external stakeholders, including:
- SAPS
- NPA
- CoGTS
- Department of Human Settlements
- O.R. Tambo District Municipality Water and Sanitation

On day two, 25 February 2026, the session continued with further internal departmental presentations.
