As we celebrate Women’s Month, the Pondoland Times shines a spotlight on the AMA 2K Junior Netball Team, a beacon of hope for young girls in Nomlacu locality, in Bizana. Founded by Mrs. Kassie-Minah Nomathibane Mthi, a dedicated pensioner, the team provides a safe space for girls aged 16 and under to develop their netball skills, build self-esteem, and focus on their education.
However, the team urgently needs financial support to continue its activities. With a lack of resources, they are struggling to secure essential kit and bibs for upcoming netball events, costing R3000.00.
We call on local businesses, organizations, and individuals to support this vital community initiative. Your sponsorship would have a profound impact on the lives of these young athletes, helping to steer them away from negative influences and towards a brighter future.
Contact Mrs. Mthi at 0732454761 or zazazangomso@gmail.com to learn more about how you can make a difference.
Let’s empower these young women to thrive!
