The workshop aimed to empower traditional councils with a deeper understanding of SPLUMA, a national law that promotes sustainable and inclusive land development. The session focused on aligning traditional governance with modern planning regulations, improving land management, and strengthening participation in municipal development frameworks.

Traditional leaders welcomed the initiative, which will support better coordination between customary land practices and legal planning requirements.
