The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has confirmed that Disability Grants for the month of July 2024 will be paid on Wednesday, 3 July 2024.
This date includes payments for all beneficiaries linked to disability grant accounts. Payments will be made available through the usual channels including SASSA cards, ATMs, and participating retailers such as Shoprite, Boxer, Pick n Pay, Checkers, Usave, and Spar.
SASSA has once again reminded grant recipients that there is no need to withdraw funds on the first day, as the money will remain in their account until it is needed. This is part of an ongoing effort to reduce long queues at pay points and improve the safety and convenience of accessing social grants.
Beneficiaries are encouraged to choose quieter days and safer collection points where possible.
