A heavy cloud descends upon the Mpondo nation as it mourns the untimely passing of His Majesty
King Zanozuko Tyelovuyo Sigcau (Zanozuko!!!) of the Mpondo Kingdom who departed after a short
illness in the later hours of Tuesday.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, his passing comes at a time when the amaMpondo nation was on a path of uniting to realize his vision of a consolidated and a progressive Mpondo nation.
As the late King’s mother Queen Zuziwe Victoria (Nobandla!!!), sisters Princesses Nontsasa and
Ziyanda, five children, the Mpondo Royal family at large and our entire Mpondo nation grieves His
Majesty’s passing and tragic loss.
The family appeal to everyone to keep them in their prayers during this difficult
time.
