What is happening?
The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) is calling on youth graduates to register for its new e-recruitment database.
This initiative supports the National Development Plan Vision 2030 by targeting youth unemployment through future contract placement opportunities.
The database is open to graduates with qualifications in fields aligned with DSAC’s mandate — including sport, heritage, culture, and public communications.
Deadline to register: 13 February 2026 at 12h00
Why it matters to you
If you’re a young graduate who is currently unemployed and has qualifications in relevant fields, this is a national-level opportunity to be considered for future job placements.
Registering on the database means you could be contacted for contract-based roles in:

- Library, archives, and heritage sectors
- Sport and recreation programmes
While participation doesn’t guarantee a job, it increases your visibility for upcoming projects within DSAC.
