Her Worship, the Mayor, Cllr TD Mafumbatha welcomed sanitary towels from the Department of Social Development which will be donated to eleven (11) schools around Mbizana namely: Mmangweni and Gwala JSS in ward 05, Nontlanga JSS in ward 15, Luna JSS in ward 18, Tsawana JSS in ward 06, Mantshanase and Zibanzini JSS in ward 03, Lingelethu JSS in ward 24, Mngomanzi JSS in ward 16, Khanyayo JSS in ward 15 and Mngungu JSS in ward 28.
There are 750 boxes where in each box there are 190 individual packs, making each box donated to be a whole years supply of sanitary towels for each learner.
