Former Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe league champions Bizana Pondo Chiefs is said to be assessing couple of players as they are preparing to strengthen their side before the kickoff of 2020/2023 season.

Bizana-based team is edging closer to capturing the signature of two players soon to be confirmed, as they are looking to the replacement of Thabiso “Ofori” Zulu (goalkeeper) and Nkululeko “Zizo” Cele who have just joined Motsepe Foundation championship side Platinum City Rovers FC.

Bizana Pondo Chiefs chairman Nkosinathi Mqokiyana is always pleased to release players to sign with teams playing in better leagues while his side is still trying to gain promotion.

Bizana Pondo Chiefs spokesperson Siya Quzu has confirmed the news and confirmed that the team is still assessing couple of players to be decided whether they sign them or not but this season the Pondoland side is gunning for promotion.
