Nelson Mandela Bay entrepreneurs have until 14 November 2025 to apply for a new business support programme. The 6-Month Mentorship & Coaching Programme is open to qualifying micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the metro.
What Happened
The Small Enterprise Development & Finance Agency (SEDFA) announced the call for applications on 7 November 2025. The initiative is aimed at helping businesses boost their growth through targeted mentorship, coaching, and access to funding partners.
Businesses must be:
- In operation for 2+ years
- Earning between R250,000 and R35 million annually
- Employing at least 2 staff members
- South African–owned and based in Nelson Mandela Bay
The deadline to apply is 14 November 2025.

Official Response
According to SEDFA, the mentorship includes two group sessions per month over six months. Participating MSMEs will also benefit from support in:
- Business funding linkages
