On Friday, 21 April 2023, the United Democratic Movement (UDM) president Bantu Holomisa visited Nyanisweni Senior secondary school to hand over R100 000,00 (one hundred thousand rands) he had pladged to give the school when the principal of the school showed him the conditions learners study under.
In March 2023, Rising Dawn Reflections hosted a GBV Awereness campaign for the community of Nyanisweni ward 7 in Bizana and invited the president of UDM the host school was Nyanisweni Senior secondary school. That is when the principal got an opportunity to show president Holomisa the conditions of his school.

Topping up the hundred thousand Holomisa donated school shoes, grey pants, soccer and netball Jerseys for seniors and juniors and R30 000 cater for the people who had attended the handover ceremony.
The principal of the school Mr Hlanzwa said the school and he community are very grateful because they can now refurbish one of the structures that were already decaying and they are thrilled because this act of kindness I’d going to take them a step forward as a school.
The school gave Mr Bantu a token of a appreciation which dedicated to Mam Winnie Madikizela Mandela as an honour to her legacy
