Alfred Nzo region SAB Nedbank cup champs Young Challenger FC from Mount Ayliff has an advantage this season of grabbing the opportunity to the last 32 teams next year. After failing several times to qualify yet again Young Challenger FC have an open window to play a decider with ABC Motsepe league Nedbank cup champs Amavarara if they will again Eastern Cape SAB champions from different regions.
Young Challenger FC chairman Samkelo Xawu says they intend to use the advantage of playing in their slaughter house to grab the opportunity to represent Eastern Cape in national level.
“We are fully prepared to compete and this year we have an upper hand since we are going to play home unlike the previous seasons moreover we want to win these games no matter the weather” said Xawu
Xawu further encourages Alfred Nzo football fans to come in numbers to support the team.
“I believe this is the short cut to young players to reach their dreams of becoming professional footballers through this competition” said Xawu
These games will play this coming Sunday in Mount Ayliff stadium and Nolita special grounds at Msukeni village.
