R61potholes have been one of the major contributors to accidents on the road, people have gone as far as patching the potholes using their own money. There have been complaints about the standard of work the municipality puts in to fix the roads that contribute to the unsustainable patches on these potholes.
Phindile is one of the victims of the R61 potholes, he says he was following a Hyundai that suddenly stopped and he could not stop his taxi and then hit the back of the Hyundai, in roadliner R61, he added that drivers who are not familiar with the potholes find it hard to navigate the roads. The accident caused one serious injury and a few people were lightly bumped.
Phindile called the police and emergency service to rescue the individual who needed help.
