TS Galaxy is the hardest hit. The PSL side has received a second three-window transfer ban, which took effect on December 16, 2025. The club is already serving a three-window ban imposed on October 14, 2025, linked to a separate FIFA case.
The Tim Sukazi-owned club has faced repeated sanctions since 2024. Most cases involve player contract disputes reported directly to FIFA.
The bans prevented Galaxy from registering new players for the first four matches of the current season.
FIFA records show sanctions imposed on:
- December 9 and 19, 2024
- May 7, 2025
- April 29 and July 30, 2025
Other South African clubs affected
Free State Stars also remain under a blanket FIFA ban. The club sold its Motsepe Foundation Championship status to Casric Stars three years ago.Royal
Several former professional clubs face similar restrictions. These include:
- Royal Eagles
- Witbank Spurs
- Cape Town All Stars
Golden Arrows and Knox Mutizwa case.
Golden Arrows are the second active PSL club under a FIFA ban. Their sanction began on November 18 and relates to a dispute involving Knox Mutizwa.
Meanwhile, Pretoria Callies have had their ban lifted. The club previously sold its status to Lerumo Lions and now competes in the ABC Motsepe League as Thaba Tshwane FC.
