Gqeberha police arrested three men after seizing drugs valued at nearly R29 million in the Coega area. The operation took place on Thursday, 2 October 2025, when the Flying Squad noticed suspicious activity along the M17 route. This bust is one of the largest in the region this year.
What Happend
Officers saw a stationary vehicle and two men loading large bags into it. Upon inspection, they discovered parcels containing dagga, crystal meth, and cocaine.
The three men, aged between 35 and 38, were immediately arrested and placed in police custody. Authorities said careful planning ensured the suspects could not escape and that the public remained safe.
